Write your own food biography - my life in 10 dishes

This will actually test my brain a bit. Senility has begun already and I'm only just gone 42! LOL
A bit of fun though ...

OK, so here is mine. But I reserve the right to change this when needed...or after I read others.

1. Giant Goldfish and Red Wine
2. Indian kabobs
3. Homemade chicken soup
4. Gregg's pasta sauce
5. Al Capone's pepper and onion pizza...this one dates back a long time for me
6. Aunti Pickle's macaroni salad
7. Antipasto tray with crackers and bread eaten late at night with only Gregg in my company
8. Iggy's raisin rolls
9. Warm chocolate chip cookies
10. Slovakia (spelling) late night

Most of mine date back to when I was young and have some type of consistent trip and memory associated with them. This would make a great page ladies. Anyone up for a little challenge?

Trying to think back to things from different times in my life. How is this?

1. Winchell's donuts with my dad on Saturday mornings.
2. Chile verde burritos made by my mom - a lot of our family gatherings were centered around food (gee, wonder where I get that from) and my mom is an awesome cook. She made mexican a lot of times and her chile verde is the best.
3. Cinnamon crumb coffee cake drizzled with butter served at HS cafeteria for breakfast. My sister & I were just talking about this last month.
4. Jumbo sea scallops at John Domini's restaurant in Newport Beach on one of Tom and my first dates. It was very romantic. He even qued up the tape to be playing Eric Clapton's Wonderful Tonight when I got in the car (that ended up being the first dance at our wedding).
5. Fried pork tenderloin sandwich...an Indiana specialty.
6. Weeklong cooking school at Le Cordon Bleu in London.
7. Tender, light pasta in Piedmont, Italy....I've never been able to find anythig like it in the US (although came close to it last week in Bangor, Maine).
8. Roast sucking pig at Botin in Madrid (really, thiks sounds kind of gross but one of the best tings I've ever eaten). Whenever I see this on any menu now I order it though nowhere has it been as good as this.
9. Corn dogs at the state fair...and not just any corn dogs...ones from a particular stand where they had dip them and the batter is slightly sweet and yummy. Luckily I only have to wait a couple more weeks for this.
10. Wine...some of you may say this isn't a food, but it is made from grapes Smile Most all of my memories related to food also contain wine.

I know I am letting you down MF, I just haven't had time to do this.

I really need to get thinking it isn't something I have consciously thought of.

I will work on it soon, I promise! Hopefully next week!
